The ACT is a widely accepted standardized test for US college admissions, testing English, Math, Reading, and Science. Unlike the SAT, the ACT includes a dedicated Science section testing data interpretation and scientific reasoning. Our ACT preparation program covers all four sections plus the optional Writing test, with strategies tailored to the ACT's unique format and pacing requirements.

Science

Preparation Tips
The ACT is speed-focused — practice strict timing: 36 seconds per English, 60 seconds per Math, 53 seconds per Reading, 53 seconds per Science question.
For Science, you don't need to know science facts — focus on reading graphs, tables, and experimental data quickly.
English section tests grammar rules — master comma rules, apostrophes, subject-verb agreement, and conciseness.
In Math, a calculator is allowed for all questions — but mental math is faster for simpler problems.
Reading is the most time-pressured section — read passages quickly and refer back for specific answers.
For conflicting viewpoints in Science, identify what each scientist/student agrees and disagrees on.
Take 4+ full-length ACT practice tests — stamina and timing are just as important as content knowledge.
If taking the optional Writing, practice the format: analyze 3 perspectives, present your own, and evaluate strengths/weaknesses.
